Improving PC performance is very important.
If your computer isn’t performing at a desired level, there are things you can do to fix it. In this 10-minute quick fix article, I want to show how to quickly fix every error your system is encountering.
Use these tips to enhance performance, improve your business and enjoy using the internet.
1. Know How Operating System Work
The first thing is to know how your operating system works. No, you don’t have to be a PC doctor to know this, by merely reading the PC’s manual and other helpful information; you’ll be well grounded on the usage.
As a general rule, you should not overwork your computer. There is a time to switch off and a time to switch on. If your operating system is separated from the monitor as visible in Desktop computer, ensure you rightly connect the ports properly before booting the system.
I’ll be revealing a lot of things in this post, but proper knowledge about your PC would enhance its performance over time. Get to know the hard drive, the mother board, the various ports and what devices to slot/plug in. Only then will you make positive impact on your PC.
2. Partition The Hard Disk
Is your PC partitioned?
The best thing you can do to improve PC performance is to partition it. Putting the files you create on one arm of the disk, and allowing the other disk arm to house the operating files, documents and directories.
Partitioning makes the PC lighter. When you fail to do this, it’s like you’re clogging the storage tank with irrelevant files.
That’s why it’s good to partition the hard disk and make way for professional PC usage. Some of the errors we see on the operating system are as a result of the hard disk malfunctioning.
As strong as it is, you need to offer a helping hand by partitioning it. Don’t assume the various sections of a disk is meant to save your files – define it by saving current files and folders in Local D, why the system’s operating files like “temp files, programs should be kept in Local C.
3. Clean Up Your Desktop
The Desktop of your PC is the quickest place to store your files, but that’s not good for your PC performance. Most people find it really difficult to save files on the “Document” folder but that very directory is the ideal place for it.
The Desktop when filled with files, icons, folders and directories will obstruct smooth loading of the PC. There are good PC optimizers around. You could take advantage of Parallels coupon, Raxco Coupon and VMWare coupon and save when making purchases on PC performance software.
If you are observant, you’ll notice that PC’s with 10s of icons and folders on the Desktop takes more time to load that others with few icons on the desktop. When I started seeing the effect of clouded Desktop on my computer, I quickly moved some current folder into the “document” folder and everything normalized. I suggest you do the same.

The few tips above are yours for the taking. Start implementing these tips, enhance your PC usage, grow your business and expand your perspective in life. See you ahead!
