Black Friday is just around the corner. Every year, this day arrives in my household with both a sense of dread and excitement. While, I don’t go out and do the camping in line thing, I do have members of my family who will do that. Though it gets more and more difficult with each passing year.
In the last few years, more and more people are turning to the digital deals to avoid the crowds and the lines.
Now, with the popularization of technology (iPhone, android phones, etc…) You can now get the best of both worlds.
How about Apps that tell you where the best deals are so you can strategize how best to do your shopping?
Of course there are also popular websites like slick deals that tell us some of the most popular deals as well.
I live in an iOS household, so I have discovered some iPhone/ipad apps that help with the Black Friday madness.
Here are some of the apps that I’ve found that look the most useful for shopping on Black Friday:
The name says it all. This app gives you a listing of all the most popular deals on black friday. You can organize by stores and categories and even run a search. Then you can save your items on a list. I’ve been going through this app for the last couple of days. It’s got a very comprehensive list and it’s easy to use. It’s perfect for organizing the different items that you are looking for on Black Friday. It also has a countdown to the days left until the madness begins!
If you enjoy getting the latest deals from fat wallet. This app specializes in getting the fat wallet Black Friday deals. It’s not as robust as TGI Black Friday, however it pulls the deals from the fat wallet community. You may find a few deals that the other apps have missed.
BFAds.net runs a large database of Black Friday Deals. This app aggregates all the black friday ads and deals and puts it all in one convenient list for you. In design it looks similar to the FatWallet app. It simply gives you a list of all their ads and deals. Again, you may run across a deal that you didn’t find in the other apps. The only thing the that I find missing in these two apps is the ability to search for an item. Otherwise they have a good list of deals.
Between these three apps, I feel like I can find just about any deal that I’m looking for on Black Friday. Beyond these apps, many stores also have their own specific apps for black friday. You can find an app for target, walmart, best buy etc… This year there’s no shortage of online tools to make your life easier on that one day.
