Every once in a while we encounter someone or see something that is profoundly inspirational. I have this TED Talk video saved in my collection for those moments when I want to reinvigorate and inspire myself.
This is a talk by John Wooden, who passed away last year, at TED. It’s about 17 minutes long, so enjoy it over a cup of coffee while you watch.
John Wooden was a UCLA Basketball coach with a winning record that is absolutely unprecedented. This talk he gives is not about basketball, it’s about life. He talks about his pyramid of success and the character traits that he believes builds success.
One thing that I notice about successful people. They are rarely successful in only one aspect of their lives. The truly successful people have a philosophy about life that leads them down the path of success in many endeavors.
I thought I would share this video with you. This is one of those talks that will inspire you to succeed in business, sports, blogging, and in life. It’s no wonder that coach Wooden is the winningest coach in UCLA history.
Take the time to enjoy this video. In the end, you will find that John Wooden is not just a coach of basketball, he is a coach in life.
