If anyone promises you that they can rank your website on Google in less than a month, they are probably using poor link building methods. While they might achieve the ranking, your rankings are going to plummet in the upcoming months. It also could jeopardize your rankings forever, considering that the Google Penguin update has cracked down heavily on low-quality link building methods. You have to be very careful with the SEO or link building company that you hire. Below, you’ll find an SEO plan that is extremely effective. If you follow this plan, you will be able to rank any website on Google in less than one month. I’m not promising first page rankings or number one results, but you will be able to get your website to show up within the top 100 search results in less than a month. I know this because I have repeated this SEO strategy several times in the past and it has been very effective for ranking my own websites. I’ve never had a problem getting a website to rank, provided that I don’t overdo any of these links or build too many links on a brand-new website.
First, optimize your on-page content
Of course, the first step that you need to take before you start building backlinks is to make sure that you’re on-page content is optimized. Have you adjusted your titles, descriptions, in-context keywords, tags, and URL structure? All of these factors are very important when it comes to search engine optimization. If you don’t do them correctly, all of your link building will be ineffective, since Google and other search engines aren’t valuing your on-page factors highly.
Second, begin with a low amount of very high quality bookmarks
Bookmarking sites are a form of a social network. I highly advise that the first link you build your website be a set of high-quality bookmarking links. I’m not talking about the plans that you can buy from webmaster forums where you will receive 500 to 1000 bookmarks for a cheap price. These are low quality bookmarking sites, they don’t have high PR or authority whatsoever. Make sure that the bookmarking sites which you use are high quality and top-notch. Build about 50 to 100 of them. Make sure that you diversify your anchor text significantly, Google has cracked down on this through their latest algorithm updates
Third, build unique content Web 2.0 properties with diversified anchors
I highly advise that you build unique content and handwritten web 2.0 properties with images and videos to increase their value. Web 2.0 properties are websites like WordPress.com. These sites allow you to create a blog of your own, so that you can put a link on the blog directing traffic back to your own website. This link is very valuable, if you build web 2.0 properties with completely unique content and diversified anchors, it will greatly increase your search engine rankings. You can also publish more content to your web 2.0 properties in the future, since these are essentially blogs that you can have multiple posts on.
Fourth, submit an article to top article directories
Now you need to submit an article to only the top quality article directories on the Internet. You should never spam your article across thousands of directories, this could hinder your search engine rankings. Rather, select the top 15 to 20 article directories that have high page rank. Make sure you leave a link to your site in the resource box of the article and then build second-tier and third tier links to the live links that you have obtained from these article directories.
Fifth, slow down and address what you have done and analyze second-tier and third tier options
At this point, you have built a good amount of links and it’s advisable to slow down and take it easy. If your website is fairly new, it’s at risk of suffering from the Google sandbox penalty. You need to take your link building slowly, so that you don’t blast your site with too many links in a short period of time. Google will recognize this as self-promotion and penalize your site appropriately. You can always come back from the Google sandbox penalty, but it can take months in some cases. Start building second and third tier links. These links will provide link juice to the links that you have built above. It will increase their page rank and possibly pass link juice to your website.
Sixth, build top quality wiki’s, pdf docs and press release
Here are some other submission website that you can utilize. After you have completed the steps above and done some tier 2 and tier 3 linking, it’s time to begin building direct homepage links once again. Utilize wiki websites, PDF document submission sites and press release sites to continue linking to your website. Make sure to hit inner pages, so that you are not only linking to your homepage. Of course, continue to diversify your anchor text heavily, so that you do not suffer from any penalties that crack down on not having anchor text adversity.
Guest posts!
Guest posting is always going to be the highest quality links that you can build for your website. If you can find other blogs on the Internet that are willing to accept a guest post from you, you should definitely take the time to do this. Writing an exceptionally high-quality guest post can take time, but it’s well worth the effort. These are high in authority and high in pagerank links that will be around on the Internet for years to come. If you secure these links for your website, your search engine rankings will reflect upon your efforts forever.
