Do you even know why you started a blog in the first place? The biggest majority of people want to earn lots of money. They want to take that money, quit their job and disappear into the sunset. You might get people who say they want to help people, or maybe a few that say they want their voice to be heard. That’s just something cute you say to impress people, but 99% of the population wouldn’t keep going with their blog until it was successful if they weren’t going to get compensated. It’s really hard work.
Once you accept that money is the most important thing you can finally learn how to earn some. You can turn your blog into a money tree that magically transports money into your bank account every month. If you hate the idea of admitting this you can think about it in a different way. When you are making enough to be able to blog full-time you can help more people and share your voice with a bigger audience. Now that we’ve got that sorted we can look at the best ways to start making money.

How many products are available in your niche that you could become an affiliate for? When you look at most niches that number seems to be huge and only grows by the day. Some people then decide to have hundreds of things for sale on their website. They must think they are Amazon or something. Choose only a few products that you care about deeply, because when you care about something deeply people will be more inclined to buy and you’ll even make more money.
Work out the ideal price
Before you can start throwing offers at your readers you should really be trying to find out who your ideal reader is. That is the average person who comes to your site and reads everything you write, and it’s so you can put a picture of them on your computer monitor so you can look at it when deciding what to sell. Some people will have an ideal reader who is still in school and the price you can charge for something is much less than if your ideal reader is the CEO of his own company.
Start small and crawl up
You might be thinking about offering a product that costs $2000, which is a lot of money for anyone to throw down on someone they don’t know. This product could be a 3-day workshop and if you can fill it up you will make great money, so what can you do? First you would have to offer a product for $50 and people would love it. Then you could offer one for $200, and then $500. People will know what type of results they can expect and they will now give you $2000 to come to your workshop.
Different media platforms
Some people don’t like to read and will not by a product that involves sitting down for hours reading something. Maybe they’re too lazy to read, too busy, or they might just be the kind of people who find the written word hard to take in. You need to find a way to reach those people and that is why you must start offering your products in multiple forms of media. When someone can buy something in video or audio format your sales will go up and so will your bank balance.
Build up a relationship
There are two people standing behind a desk and they are both trying to sell you something. Person A has an amazing product, but you don’t have any idea who he is. Person B is your friend and you have known him for a few years. Who are you going to buy from? If you said your friend you would be entirely correct, unless he still owed you $20 and you were mad at him. You need to build up a great relationship with people who come to your site because they will buy from you once they think of you as a friend.
