If you are using an iPad to help you out with your blogging needs, you may want to look into an app that I’ve recently purchase, Blogsy. Blogsy is a blogging app for the iPad that is both full featured and easy to use.
As we speak, I am writing this current post on an iPad using the Blogsy app. Blogsy allows me to not only write my post, but it also has tons of options for formatting my post as well as a lot of options for adding images to my posts.
For me, the most important functions in a blogging app are:
- ease of use
- formating options
- ability to add images
- ability to easily add links
- functions with my tags and categories
- the ability to schedule my publishing times.
Blogsy accomplishes each of these functions. This makes blogging on an iPad much more of a practical reality, rather than just wishful thinking.
I’ll let the folks at Blogsly speak for themselves. Here’s their instructions on how to use blogsy as it shows up when you open the app for the first time:
A very important thing to know about Blogsy is that there are two sides – ‘Rich Side’ and ‘Write Side’.
You are on the ‘Rich Side’ now. To get to the ‘Write Side’ just swipe left or right.
In this table you can see some of the things you can do on each side.
Here’s a quick overview pointing out where to go to do all the things you want to do.
As you can see, Blogsy is one of those apps that are really well thought out and integrated well with the iPad platform. You can easily do all the things you need to publish a quick post.
